AS SEEN ON
WA POLICE FORCE
My very first job out of school was in the WA Police Force as a Police Cadet – but that is a story for another time/ when the files become declassified.
2008
WACKY WORLD BEATERS
During my time at the ABC I also worked on two other shows: The World Animal Championships and Wacky World Beaters, both of which sold internationally (I’m huge in Samoa).
The World Animal Championships was a super-cute wildlife countdown show - think 20 to 1 meets David Attenborough meets Funniest Home Videos. Wacky World Beaters was an extreme sports travel show where we competed in all sorts of weird events like bog snorkelling, The World Air Guitar Championships, The Dog Grooming World Championships and beyond!
I walked away from Wacky World Beaters crowned the runner up of the 2014 Nagasaki Speed Eating World Championships (probably still my greatest achievement to date).

TRIPLE J & SIDELINERS
After two series of Popslam I returned home to Australia, where I continued my musical journey and became a radio presenter on Triple J. I also started hosting music festivals around the country - the highlight of which was getting to share a stage with (my hero) Chance the Rapper at Field Day in Sydney.
My work as a radio host also extended into sport. I joined the team at ABC Grandstand as a boundary rider for their coverage of the cricket.
In 2017, the ABC recruited me for a new sports-comedy program called Sideliners. This role involved writing and hosting comedy sketches and field stories, as well as interviewing guests on the live weekly studio show.

TOTALLY WILD
On the morning of January 15th 2018 I woke up with a strange urge to milk goats, fight fires, swim with sharks and fight crime. Thankfully there was a job that would allow me to do all the above: working on the iconic children's television series Totally Wild!
Totally Wild (TW) was one of the longest running children's television shows in Australia! As a segment producer on TW I would write, direct, host and produce segments for the weekly children’s program, which aired on the CBS Network. To say it was fun would be the greatest understatement of my life.
2018
CBBC KIDS
During my time in the UK I also hosted a live studio show for CBBC kids called The Office. The show ran in-between cartoons. It was a mix of skits, games, songs and live activations with kids. The cutest part - my co-hosts were PUPPETS!!
I was also a part of the BBC alternative commentary team for their coverage of the 2014 FIFA World Cup, given I had never watched a soccer match, this was a very unexpected opportunity.
This period of my life saw me develop my interest in listening to cool music and writing about said cool music, and I was lucky enough to get published in Top of the Pops magazine as a regular guest music journalist.
2014
AFL
After I’d hugged every single animal in Australia, I took up a role with the AFL as the Creative Lead of Kids and Youth Content.
In this position I was was tasked with building out the code’s digital content offering for youth audiences.
As Creative Lead, I would develop, produce and present digital content aimed at engaging new and existing fans. As a part of this role I also worked on creative campaigns in partnership with brands including McDonalds, NAB, Woolworths, Google and Instagram.
Despite spending countless hours around the nation's best football players I did not improve my own footy game in the slightest.
2019
TENNIS AUSTRALIA
In 2020 I joined the team at Tennis Australia as a digital producer, presenter and (most natably) unofficial leader of The Barty Party.
As a producer I worked closely with Tennis Australia's digital team developing content streams and strategy for their social platforms.
As a presenter I hosted the Australian Open Instagram account. In this role I would provide fun, daily insights throughout the tournament capturing all of the atmosphere and excitement for fans at home.
And, as The (unofficial) leader of The Barty Party I generated high levels of noise and general excitement whenever the legend was on court.
2020
MATCH MATES
In 2021 I created and hosted a new footy series for Channel 7 called Match Mates.
Match Mates was a fun little series where players put their friendships on the line for the chance to take home a super-cute best friendship necklace and the glory of being named the best mates in the entire AFL competition!
The series aired during footy matches on Channel 7 and also ran across their digital platforms.

ABOUT ME
I have been working in the media industry for over a decade (and I have been playing ping pong for about half that time). In television I have held various roles with the ABC, ABC 3, BBC, Channel 7 and CBS Network. I have also dabbled in radio as a presenter for Triple J and ABC Grandstand. As well as this I have collaborated on creative content campaigns with companies and brands that include the AFL, Cricket Australia, Tennis Australia, Melbourne Renegades, Woolworths, The City of Perth, McDonalds, NAB, Instagram and Google.
For the full, play by play version of my work history complete with pics please see below!
POPSLAM
After 5 years hosting and writing for the ABC, I moved to the UK to do the exact same thing for the BBC. My main role at the BBC was as a host on a brand new music travel show called Pop Slam.
As a wannabe rapper this was literally my dream job. The show sent me around the globe, documenting the lives of the world’s biggest pop stars including Beyonce, Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran and Katy Perry.
I also managed to successfully steal sixteen pairs of celebrity sneakers - these are currently available to purchase on Facebook marketplace.

BROWNLOW MEDAL NIGHT
In September 2021 all my childhood Cinderella dreams came true, when I got to wear a big pink princess ball gown to the Brownlow Medal Night.
I arrived in a magical pumpkin coach and spent the night on the red-carpet interviewing players for Channel Seven's coverage of footy's night of night.

PERTH SCORCHERS
After a lifetime of working with the Melbourne Renegades in 2021 I finally traded my red polo for this cute little orange one and joined the team at the Perth Scorchers.
I was signed as the official match day MC and ground announcer for their WBBL season and also jumped on the microphone for other club events!
2021
PERTH WILDCATS
Working at the basketball has been on my bucket list for longer than I can remember, mainly because I love Space Jam and Lil Bow Wow.
In 2021 I joined the team at the Perth Wildcats as one of their Game Day MCs. I spent the season firing t-shirts into the crowd, running all sorts of on court challenges, and perfecting my free throw.
By the close of the season I had given away 945 t-shirts and had a 73 percent free throw average.

AFL GRAND FINAL
In 2021 The AFL Grand Final came to Perth for the very first time. Like many fans I was unable to get a ticket, but thankfully Channel 7 let me tag along with them.
During the 2021 AFL Grand Final I worked with the team at Channel 7 for their pre-match pump up in Perth. I was tasked with providing loads of colourful crosses that captured the fun and excitement of the first ever footy grand final in Western Australia!
I then did a super fast wardrobe change and jumped onto the field where my job was to pump up the crowd all night as the official match day MC for the AFL.
2021
TELETHON
For the 2021 coverage of Telethon it was an absolute delight to join the team at Channel 7 as their backstage host interviewing guests for their live music show.
Throughout the night I was tasked with hunting down all the stars and providing lively updates full of fun, colour and laughs! I was also the official event MC alongside my pal David Berrie!
2021
SUMMER JAM
My basketball adventures continued in 2022 when a super fun basketball tournament called Summer Jam came to Perth for the very first time and I was lucky enough to get some of the best seats in the house!
On the day I worked as the event MC and also hosted Instagram stories for FootLocker, who were one of the major sponsors of the event.

FREMANTLE DOCKERS
Growing up in WA I have always been a massive Freo fan, so joining the team for the 2021/22 AFL and AFL W seasons was like a dream come true.
The ULTIMATE dream come true would have been to run out onto the field as a part of the AFLW squad, kick six goals in my debut game and then be awarded best on ground. Even though this did not eventuate getting to run around the ground with a microphone shouting loud noises was just as fun.
2021/22
WILDCATS MVP BALL
After an incredible first season with the Perth Wildcats it was an absolute delight to be asked to co-host the club's MVP Ball.
On this very special day I worked alongside Lachy Reid providing fun and colourful crosses throughout the night. I also played a key role in driving engagement and participation on the dance floor post event*
*this was not a part of my official duties.

KEY TO THE CITY
In June 2022 The City of Perth threw a massive party to celebrate some of the incredible achievements of women in sport. The West Coast Fever had just won their first premiership and international football sensation Sam Kerr was being awarded the Key to the City. I had also just scored 3 (incredible) goals in a recent indoor soccer match**.
The ceremony took place in front of a packed out crowd right in the heart of the city. As a lifelong sport enthusiast/wannabe baller it was an absolute privilege to to play a part in this very special day celebrating women in sport.
** this was not a part of the formal celebrations.

MEN'S T20 WORLD CUP
As a kid I spent countless hours at the nets with my dad perfecting my bowling action and dreaming of playing cricket for Australia. So when I got the call up to host the 2022 ICC Men's Cricket World Cup I was naturally VERY excited!!
My official role as the event MC was to keep the crowd pumped up throughout the two week tournament in Perth. My unofficial role (as a life long cricket tragic) was to ask Darren Sammy (pictured) for 100 0000 tips on perfecting my cover drive.
2022
SUMMER JAM
Summer Jam is Australia’s largest basketball festival. It's like a massive summer block party that blends sports and culture.
In 2023 for the very first time the event was held right in the heart of the city and it was AMAZING - think two days of non-stop basketball, dancing and music.
As the event host it was my job to keep the energy up between games and make sure everyone was having a good time. This involved running activations, giving away prizes, making sure everyone was hydrating and shouting loud noises on the microphone.
2023
WA MENTAL HEALTH AWARDS
Hosting the 2022 WA Mental Health Awards was an absolute privilege. Mental health is something I am personally very passionate about so it was great to play a part on this special day.
The purpose of the awards night was to recognise and celebrate individuals, groups and organisations that had made positive contributions towards mental health in WA. The Awards were hosted by the Western Australian Association for Mental Health, with the support of the WA Mental Health Commission.

CARAVAN AND CAMPING WA
I do not own a caravan or go camping but the producers of Caravan and Camping WA did not hold this against me.
Caravan and Camping WA is an outdoor adventure series which airs on the Seven Network. Each week a regular cast of hosts and guests go on incredible road trips showcasing different parts of Western Australia.
In 2023 I joined the team as a guest producer and host on the series and systematically ticked off 70% of my bucket list.
2023
WEST COAST FEVER
I am a MASSIVE fan of women's sport (and the colour green) so naturally I was extremely excited to join the team at West Coast Fever as a game day host for their 2023 season.
Working at the Fever is like nothing I have experienced before, such a massive vibe and such a privilege to be a part of it! YEAH THE GIRLS!!!
2023
FIFA WOMEN'S WORLD CUP
In 2023 Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand hosted The FIFA Women's World Cup.
In the lead up to the tournament the original FIFA Women's World Cup Trophy went on a massive tour visiting all the participating nations and host cities to build excitement and buzz around the tournament.
Because of my extensive experience in holding (runner-up) trophies I was naturally called up to go on the tour with Tourism WA. This was such an exciting moment for the state and it was super special to be a part of the celebrations.

ACT BELONG COMMIT
YA GIRL DIRECTED HER FIRST TELEVISION COMMERCIAL!
In 2023 I directed my first ever television commercial. Working on this project was an absolute highlight. Mental health is something I am personally very passionate about, so it was very special to partner with Act Belong Commit and create this cute little TVC.
The purpose of the campaign was to show Pilbara locals how physical activity and community connection can protect and enhance their mental health and wellbeing. On this project I was the writer, producer, director and host and worked in collaboration with the incredible team at 303 MullenLowe.

Soccer has been a constant thread in my life so getting to pump up 59,000 fans at Optus Stadium is something I will never forget.
Perth came out in force to show their support for the Tillies absolutely packing out every single match of the 2023 AFL Women's Olympic Football Asian Qualifiers and I was super lucky to have the best seats in the house alongside my lovely co-host Danni Shuey.

In 2023 WA hosted The State Football Centre Festival in Perth to celebrate some of the amazing achievements of women in sport.
At the festival the WA Premier Roger Cook announced the new football centre would officially be named The Sam Kerr Football Centre and on a personal note, I announced that I would be returning to the social soccer scene *

MARKETING GRADUATE
After 13 years and 5 different universities on the 16th of December 2022 I finally graduated! This was hands down one of the happiest days of my life.
I definitely took the scenic route to get my degree. I started, stopped and deferred my studies more times than I could remember - but I wouldn't change a thing!
The experience taught me that as long as you are persistent and consistent with your actions you will eventually arrive at your destination. Do it your way, trust yourself, and trust the process.
2022
UNITED CUP
I followed up my five massive days of swimming with six massive days of tennis at the United Cup in Perth.
The United Cup is a super fun tennis tournament that runs over the Christmas/New Year period. All the biggest names in tennis descend on Perth for a bit of a warm-up ahead of the Australian Open.
This was so much fun!!! The absolute highlight for me was getting to read out all the players exotic names - my fav: Ajejandro Davidovich Fokina!

PERTH INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL OF HOCKEY
I have never really told anyone this, but secretly I have ambition to host events in every single sporting code on the planet.
In April 2024 I took a giant step closer to realising my dream when I was asked to host the Men's Final of the Perth International Festival of Hockey.
SO MUCH FUN!!!!
I walked away with a new found love for hockey and only 64 different sports left on my bucket list!

STATE SWIMMING CHAMPS
I always considered myself to be an amazing swimmer ... but that all changed when I hosted the Western Australian Swimming Championships at HBF Stadium.
When I realised that my average lap pace was considerably slower than the under 12's it was defiantly a blow to the ego, but it was still so much fun working with the lovely team at Swimming WA for five massive days of swimming.

ABC 3
My media career kicked off in 2008 when I (somehow) won a competition to be the face of a shiny new television channel called ABC 3 (now ABCme). In this role I was the host of Studio 3, which was a super-fun daily children’s show made up of interviews, sketches, pranks, food fights, rap battles and everything in between.
