On this project I was the writer, host, props maker and producer. The series ran across AFL digital platforms as a part of a partnership arrangement with NAB.
This series was created for NAB as a part of their partnership agreement with the AFL. NAB was the major sponsor of the AFL Draft Combine and they were looking for a creative content series to promote their partnership - cue the glitter, paint smocks and the first ever NAB CRAFT Combine!

OVERVIEW:
This was such a cute series. We basically took a bunch of young footy draft hopefuls and surprised them with a series of arts and craft challenges judged by some of their favourite footy heroes. The Craft Combine was such a fun series to write. I really wanted to make something different for footy fans and give the series a bit of that reality TV feel... so I binged watched the Bachelor and got to work!
For the majority of footy fans it was going to be the first time they had seen or heard of some of these young kids, so it was really important to create a fun environment that brought out their personalities. I also wanted to keep that element of competition so I did what all great producers do... I got out the glue gun and made what was arguably the best footy trophy of all time. Each episode players were scored on their artistic creations and this really created some healthy competition between the boys and made for some great viewing!
